Letters to My Mother is a collection of letters, written by people of all ages and backgrounds, to pay tribute to the women who give us life - and love.

Letters to My Mother is a perfect gift for mother's day. It is a collection of more than 60 moving letters to celebrate the special gift of a mother's love, written by people of all ages and backgrounds in appreciation of the mothers who loved, nurtured, and inspired them.

These letters confirm the special bond between mother and child.

The anthology is divided into five headings:

1. You are My Inspiration

Through the years, mothers have proven to be the most inspirational individuals. They are selfless, caring, and encourage us no matter our journey or its outcome. With a mother's unending support, children can accomplish anything in life and know there is one person whom they can trust. Our mothers serve as the ultimate example of how we live our lives. They show us that with patience and perseverance, we can forge our dream and hopes.

2. You Made Me Who I Am Today

As we grow, we learn and experience realities in life. Our mothers educate us in all disciplines of life and guide us with their faith, practicality, optimism and humor. From them we learn the value of what it is to truly live. As a result of these lessons we become better and more accepting as individuals. As we create our own families, our mothers' wisdom, trickles down, forming a legacy from one generation to the next.

3. You are My Hero

A hero or heroine accomplishes amazing feats, endures tumultuous times, ultimately becoming a better person as a result of the experience. Mothers are heroes. They give us birth, nurture our minds and bodies, lift our spirits in good or bad times, and give love. They show us how to be strong, how to live, how to be respectful and kind, and how to survive.

4. You are Always in My Heart

All children have a bond with their mother, an unwavering tie. As we grow and mature, we realize our mother is the one constant who will guide and watch over us whatever we have become or where ever we are. The journey that mother and child take binds them inseparable from one lifetime to the next and the memories created linger all the way. The legacy of motherhood is not a burden to her child – it's a gift a child keeps and holds closest to heart.

5. It's Never Too Late to Say Thank You

To simply thank a mother seems never enough. How do you thank someone for giving you life? For loving you unconditionally, helping you read and do your assignments, cook your meals, learn the alphabet, and just being there when you're in pain? There is no measure that can describe our true feelings for our mothers except for the four words every mother hopes to hear: "Mom, I love you."
