New relationships are exciting while an old one may become boring and a little stagnant. Use the power of Feng Shui to give your marriage a makeover.
Weddings are one of the most momentous days in our lives because we are able to express our love to one. However, over 50% of marriages end in divorce for brides over the age of 25 according to the National Center for Health Statistics. Implementing the principles of Feng Shui in your personal space has the power to reduce your chances from becoming a divorce statistic. Relationships are difficult to keep fresh and exciting. After a few years, we become complacent in our surroundings. Move your stuff to bring in new energy to spark your relationship. Healthy Marriage Tips• Buy new bed sheets for your bed. Think exotic rather than practical. • Put a fresh coat of paint on your bedroom walls. • Place some fresh flowers in your room. Red roses or tulips are a great addition. • Move your stuff around. Do not keep your bed in the same position year after year. Just moving your bed an inch or two will change the flow of energy in the room. • Open the windows everyday to let the old energy out. • Do a thorough cleaning at least once a year. Declutter the room of clothes and objects that are no longer used by you and your spouse. • Close the bathroom and closet doors in your bedrooms. Keep them clean and clutter free. • Read poetry to each other. • Keep the television out of the bedroom. • Play soft and soothing music in the bedroom to bring romance into the air. • Have luxurious and soft furnishings. Keep the cold designs for another room. • Place a crystal in your window to bring the colors of the rainbow into your bedroom. • Place two objects of similar size on the bedside table to represent you and your partner. • Have photos of your partner and you enjoying life. Marriage Goal SettingBefore you begin moving your stuff and adding Feng Shui cures to your relationships corner, you must make notes on your present relationship with your spouse. Record how you and your spouse get along and identify what are the main problems in your personal relationship with each other. After identifying your problems, write specific goals of the ideal relationship with your spouse. Make your goals specific and within a reasonable time frame. After you have decided on the type of relationship you desire, go to every southwest corner in your home. Record the visual, auditory, and scent of all southwest corners in your home. It includes the basement, closets, bathrooms and all nooks and crannies that are in the southwest sectors of your home. The next step is to clear these areas and implement a few love cures. The success to Feng Shui is to remove the old energies and replace them with new and fresh energies.
