Ideas for Presents That Every Man in Your Life Will Love

Not sure what to buy your husband, your boyfriend, your brother, or even your dad? Here are some surefire gift ideas that would make all of them happy.

Women think that they know what men want, but most of the time they would be surprised to hear what they would really like to get for a present. For the next holiday, anniversary or birthday, try one of these ideas to really make him happy.

A Remote Control Toy

Men really love the excitement of getting a new toy, especially on Christmas morning. Most would enjoy a remote control anything – helicopter, car, off-road vehicle – especially if there are two and he can compete with someone else.

Wrist Watch

Every guy needs a watch, and the more components and gadgets on it the better. Look for features such as sub dials, alarms, 24-hour military time, underwater depth display, and night reading capabilities.

Power Tools

Most men are either handy or think they are. If he already has a lot of power tools, see if they are all the same brand and then stick to that brand as he obviously likes it. If he doesn’t have any power tools, then you are best to go all out and get him one of the top of the line smaller tools, such as a palm sander, a jigsaw, a cordless drill or cordless screwdriver from a brand like Bosch or DeWalt. You may want to stay away from the larger tools like table saws, radial arm saws, and miter saws as they are quite expensive and have more elaborate functionality, so he may have something specific that he wants in that area.

Gadgets

All guys tend to love gadgets. Open up a Sharper Image catalog and you should be able to find something cool that he can show his friends. Men love everything from mind twisting puzzles to headphones to shower mirrors, the more innovative the product, the better.

GPS

Global positioning systems (GPS) are digital mapping devices that tell you how to get from point A to point B. Since men hate asking for directions, they love these. You can get him either a portable one that he can carry on himself or one you put in the car. Try brands like Mio or TomTom.

Sport Accessories

If he is into any sport, buy him a high end accessory as opposed to the actual equipment which he may prefer to pick for himself. For example, buy a snowboarder top of the line snow goggles from Carrera or Oakley. Buy a golfer the most state-of-the-art golf glove from Mizuno or Footjoy. Get a runner a cool device like the Nike + iPod Sport Kit which lets him track his running time and distance on his iPod.

Swiss Army Knife

All guys love Swiss army knives, and the latest and greatest is always the best way to go. There are ones for every type of man with tools as diverse as butane lighters, gardening pruners, flashlights and pliers.

Childhood Memories

Find out what his favorite television series was as a kid and get the entire series on DVD, or find out what his favorite comic book was and try to get old copies from a vintage comic book store. Alternatively, was there one toy he just loved as a child but does have any more? See if you can find it on eBay.

You know him best, but more than likely he will be happy with one of these suggestions. For more gift ideas for someone else in your life, be sure to see the article, The Best Gifts for Women.
